Re-discovered this frame from jan 2019.
This shows the Fomapan 400 could render beautifully even if it’s «ruogh around the edges» and contrasty.
Don’t be afraid to experiment with Fomapan 400, sometimes it could backfire, but knowledge is gained by doing so.
Even the Schneider Raionar f2.9 is a triplet, I really like the expression of the lens.
The lens was targeted at the amateur market as a cheaper alternative, and you have to stop it down to get a sharp image. Even stopped down the edges suffers a little, but it does not stop me from using it…
